Security forces engaged in a 40-minute gunfight with alleged Maoists in Telangana’s Bhadradri Kothagudem district, killing six individuals, including two women. The encounter near the Chhattisgarh border also injured two Greyhounds commandos. Authorities recovered weapons and ammunition from the site. This follows a similar operation in Chhattisgarh where nine Maoists were recently killed.
