A Mumbai to Manchester Gulf Air flight, carrying about 60 Indian passengers, departed from Kuwait after being diverted due to a technical issue. The flight had been stranded since December 1, and many other passengers were able to leave the airport on visas-on-arrival. The Indian embassy ensured the stranded passengers were accommodated in the airport lounge.
