At least 27 people, mostly pilgrims from Maharashtra’s Jalgaon district, lost their lives when an Indian tourist bus veered off a highway and plunged into the Marsyangdi river in Nepal. The bus carried 43 passengers, and many of the 16 injured were in critical condition. Efforts are being coordinated to bring back the deceased to Maharashtra.
