Five students from the Government College of Nursing in Kottayam were arrested for allegedly ragging freshers. The third-year students subjected the victims to acts of cruelty, including being stripped and having dumbbells tied to their private parts. The arrested students recorded their actions and have been charged under sections of the Kerala Prohibition of Ragging Act.
