In East Godavari district, seven people lost their lives when a lorry fell into a canal at midnight after the driver tried to avoid a pothole. All those sitting on top of the lorry died instantly, while one person was rescued and hospitalized. CM Chandrababu Naidu expressed his condolences and assured government support for the victims’ families.
