Tesla has signed a five-year lease to open its first showroom in Mumbai, located in the Maker Maxity building near Bandra Kurla Complex. The company will pay approximately $446,000 in rent for 4,003 square feet. Initially delayed by regulatory hurdles, Tesla resumed its efforts last year to establish a retail presence in India’s fast-growing car market.
