In a peculiar incident, the Dhanbad-bound Kisan Express train split into two near Seohara railway station, Bijnor, at 4am on Sunday, leaving eight coaches behind. The stranded sections eventually stopped near Raipur village, causing concern among passengers, including 150 UP police constable exam candidates. Railway officials attributed the incident to a technical glitch. The coaches were reconnected by 7.20am.
