The ministry of home affairs has created an Inter-Ministerial Central Team to evaluate the flooding damage in Gujarat. Directed by the NIDM executive director, the team will visit affected districts. Gujarat endured severe rainfall between August 25 to 30, causing 47 fatalities. More heavy rainfall is anticipated until September 5, according to the IMD.
