Kerala had one of the highest youth unemployment rates in the 15-29 years group in 2023-24, while Madhya Pradesh recorded the lowest, followed by Gujarat, says Periodic Labour Force Survey. Kerala’s unemployment rate was 29.9% – 47.1% among females and 19.3% for males. Unemployment rate in the country was unchanged at 3.2%.
