CPI breaks ranks with INDIA bloc in Jharkhand, to go solo in assembly polls
The Communist Party of India (CPI) declared its candidates for the Jharkhand assembly elections, citing dissatisfaction with seat allocations offered by the INDIA bloc allies. The CPI plans to contest 15 seats independently, criticizing CM Hemant Soren’s government for disappointing the youth over the past five years. The Jharkhand Assembly elections will be held in two phases on November 13 and November 20 and votes will be counted on November 23.
