A mother from Wiltshire, England, named Lucy, 39, was left heartbroken when her six-year-old daughter’s passport application was denied due to her name, Khaleesi, which was inspired by the hit TV show Game of Thrones. The UK Passport Office claimed that they couldn’t issue a passport for Khaleesi without permission from Warner Brothers, the franchise owner, because of the name’s trademark status.
