An assistant sub-inspector (ASI) lost his arm and a constable was injured while retrieving bodies from railway tracks in Damoh district, Madhya Pradesh. As they were removing the deceased, who had fallen from a moving train, another train struck them. The ASI, Rajendra Mishra, was referred to Jabalpur for treatment, while the constable regained consciousness after initial treatment.
