Pakistani leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed aims to become Pakistan’s leading spin option in the upcoming two-match Test series against Bangladesh, starting August 21st in Rawalpindi. Despite being selected for the T20 World Cup, Abrar didn’t play any matches. His last international appearance was in July 2023. Abrar sees this series as a crucial opportunity to solidify his Test squad position and possibly earn a spot in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. The second Test in Karachi will be played without spectators.
