India’s captain Rohit Sharma has strongly denied retirement rumors, attributing his absence from the Sydney Test to a poor run with the bat. Emphasising his commitment to the game, he mentioned his dip in form while dismissing external opinions on his career decisions. In the current Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Rohit’s batting statistics have been concerning, with an average of merely 6.2 and a highest score of 10 across three Tests against Australia.
