A 27-year-old woman was rescued after being held captive for more than three months in northwest Czech Republic. She endured horrific abuse, including being chained, raped, and tortured by 40-year-old Karel N. The woman managed to escape and sought help from neighbours. Karel N, who had a history of similar offences, is in custody awaiting trial.
