India opted to bat first in the second day-night Test against Australia at Adelaide Oval after Rohit Sharma won the toss. Ravichandran Ashwin returned to the playing XI, replacing Washington Sundar. Sharma confirmed his return to the middle order, with Shubman Gill also coming in for Devdutt Padikkal. Australia’s only change was Scott Boland replacing the injured Josh Hazlewood.
