There are 71 major fires burning across the U.S., nine of them in California. In Los Angeles County, the Bridge Fire exploded late Tuesday from 3,000 acres to 34,000 acres in a matter of hours. Meanwhile the Airport Fire has grown to nearly 22,000 acres and is 0% contained.
