On his 150th birth anniversary, tribal leader and freedom fighter Birsa Munda was honored by renaming Sarai Kale Khan Chowk in New Delhi to Birsa Munda Chowk. Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar made the announcement during a ceremony where a statue of Munda was also unveiled by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Khattar, and Delhi LG VK Saxena.
