An explosion near the Beth Yaacov synagogue in La Motte, a coastal town in France, injured a police officer on Saturday. Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin deemed it an ‘obviously criminal act.’ Authorities are seeking the perpetrator. The explosion is suspected to have been caused by a gas canister inside a vehicle.
