Rishabh Pant made his Test comeback in the first match of the series against Bangladesh in Chennai, the first red-ball international for him since a car accident in December 2022. He was also part of India’s T20 World Cup-winning team earlier this year, after making his return to competitive cricket with the IPL. Pant’s fearless and entertaining approach earned him praise from former Australia wicketkeeper-batsman Adam Gilchrist.
