A rare first edition of ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,’ bought for just £10 in 1997, has been sold for an impressive £36,000 at an auction in Staffordshire. Christine McCulloch had purchased the book for her son Adam, who loved it dearly. The book, discovered during lockdown, is one of only 500 hardback copies from the 1997 first print run.
