India has extended financial assistance to the Maldives by rolling over a $50 million Treasury Bill for another year at the Maldivian government’s request. This marks the second such extension this year, highlighting India’s commitment to its key maritime neighbor under its ‘Neighbourhood First’ policy and Vision SAGAR.
