Dr Ramesh Babu Peramsetty, a physician of Indian origin, was fatally shot in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Founder and medical director of Crimson Care Network, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Known for his contributions during the Covid-19 pandemic, he is survived by his wife and four children. The network requested privacy for his family.
