Indian Air Force wing commander Shubhanshu Shukla was selected for a space mission with NASA to the ISS. His father initially preferred a civil service career for him but expressed immense pride when the PM awarded him the badge. Shukla will train in the US for the mission under a collaboration agreement with Axiom Space.
