Jammu & Kashmir’s lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha indicated that assembly elections would soon follow the ongoing delimitation process. Speaking in Srinagar, Sinha noted that the Election Commission had engaged with stakeholders. This will be the first assembly election since 2014, with new seat reservations for Scheduled Tribes.
