Unidentified miscreants blew up a stretch of meter gauge railways in Jharkhand’s Sahibganj district, disrupting coal transportation from Eastern Coalfields Limited’s Rajmahal project to NTPC’s thermal power plant in West Bengal. The explosion, causing a two-foot ditch, was likely aimed at coal theft. Authorities are investigating, but no devices were found at the site.
