A plot of land linked to Pakistan’s first Prime Minister, Liaquat Ali Khan’s family, in Muzaffarnagar, India, has been declared “enemy property”. The land, including a mosque and shops, was registered with the Waqf Board in the 1930s. The “caretaker” claims the family endowed the property to waqf, and the matter is currently under legal review.
