A group of senior BJP members miffed with Karnataka BJP president BY Vijayendra planned a 188km ‘Ballari Chalo’ padayatra to highlight issues such as the Valmiki corporation scam and diversion of SCPTSP funds. Led by MLAs Basanagouda Patil Yatnal and Ramesh Jarkiholi, they aimed to brand the state government as anti-Dalit pending high command approval.
