The defence ministry has signed a Rs 2,960 crore contract with Bharat Dynamics Ltd for over 70 medium-range surface-to-air missiles for the Navy. These missiles, developed with Israel, will be installed on various Indian warships. The Navy, IAF, and Army have already integrated these MR-SAM systems which can destroy threats like aircraft, drones, and missiles up to 70 km.
