The National Medical Commission has officially withdrawn the Competency-Based Medical Education Curriculum Guidelines for 2024 due to protests from transgender and disability rights groups. These groups argued that the guidelines were discriminatory. The NMC plans to revise and update these guidelines at a later date to address these concerns.
