The Ministry of Education will release the NIRF 2024 rankings today, August 12. The framework, approved in 2015, categorizes institutions into 13 groups. Last year, IIT Madras led in ‘Overall,’ while IISc Bengaluru topped the ‘Universities’ and ‘Research’ categories. The parameters for NIRF rankings include teaching, learning, resources, graduation outcomes, research, perception, outreach, and inclusivity.
