A non-resident Indian, Sukhchain Singh, was shot by two unidentified assailants outside his residence in Amritsar’s Daburji village. The attackers, who arrived on a motorcycle, demanded registration documents for Singh’s luxury car before shooting him twice. Singh was hospitalized, and police are investigating the incident, which was captured on CCTV. Singh’s wife alleges that his first wife’s family was involved.
