The state government has instructed all Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) to establish Internal Complaint Committees (ICC) by September 30, 2024, in compliance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013. The committees are intended to ensure a secure environment for staff and students. Institutions must submit compliance reports to the Higher Education Department.
