In response to Cyclone Dana, the Odisha Government has declared a holiday for all educational institutions in several districts, including Ganjam and Puri, until October 25. Schools will reopen on October 28, following the weekend. The India Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for coastal regions, predicting heavy rainfall and strong winds as the cyclone approaches, set to make landfall on October 25. Additionally, President Droupadi Murmu’s visit to Odisha has been postponed due to the impending storm.
