Pakistan is set to drop star batsman Babar Azam for the second Test against England starting October 15, following an innings defeat in Multan. The decision, recommended by the new selection committee, comes after Babar’s prolonged poor form in Test cricket, averaging under 21 in nine Tests this year. Since the start of 2023, Babar averages under 21 in nine Tests.
