A couple in Chennai reported that their 10-year-old daughter was repeatedly raped by a neighbor. The police inspector allegedly mistreated the parents and delayed mandatory counseling for the child. Despite registering an FIR, the accused remains unarrested. Authorities have yet to assign a child counselor to assist the survivor.
