Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj Party has nominated Lt Gen Krishna Singh as its candidate for the Tarari assembly bypoll in Bihar. Singh is the only vice chief of army staff from Bihar besides the late S K Sinha. Prashant Kishor also mentioned that the party would announce candidates for three other assembly seats shortly.
