President Droupadi Murmu was honored with Timor-Leste’s highest civilian award, the Grand-Collar of the Order. Her visit marked the first presidential visit from India to Timor-Leste. Murmu discussed strengthening bilateral relations with President José Ramos-Horta and explored Timor-Leste’s potential joining of the International Solar Alliance. She will also meet Prime Minister Xanana Gusmão and attend a community reception.
