A special court in Pune has summoned Rahul Gandhi for alleged defamatory remarks against Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. The complaint, filed by Satyaki Savarkar, claims Gandhi’s 2023 speech contained false statements. Gandhi is to appear in court on October 23, facing charges under Section 500 of the Indian Penal Code after police found prima facie evidence.
