A 13-year-old boy in Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu district died after a homemade firecracker exploded in his pocket, critically injuring him. Himanshu, with a friend’s help, mixed sulphur and potassium to create the explosive without their families’ knowledge. The explosion occurred when a spark ignited the mixture in his pocket.
