The Supreme Court dismissed Jharkhand’s plea and upheld the High Court’s quashing of an FIR against BJP MPs Nishikant Dubey, Manoj Tiwari, regarding the 2022 Deoghar airport incident. The MPs allegedly coerced Air Traffic Control to approve their delayed chartered flight’s takeoff. The court directed Jharkhand to forward collected evidence to the authorised officer for further action.
