Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah criticized governor Thawarchand Gehlot for his delayed response to the prosecution approval request against HD Kumaraswamy in an illegal mining case. Siddaramaiah highlighted that Gehlot approved prosecution against him without an investigation report, terming it discriminatory. The special investigation team had sought prosecution permissions based on Lokayukta reports.
