Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the establishment of 50,000 Atal Tinkering Labs over the next five years to foster scientific thinking among students. In addition, five national centers for skilling will be set up with global expertise, and the Bharatiya Bhasha Pushtak scheme will provide digital Indian language books for schools and higher education.
