The Supreme Court heard arguments for dismissing Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s bail plea in the 2021-22 excise policy case. The CBI claimed Kejriwal orchestrated increasing liquor wholesalers’ commission from 5% to 12% for a Rs 100 crore kickback, allegedly used in the AAP’s Goa election campaign. Further hearings are scheduled for September 6.
