Taliban’s acting refugee minister, Khalil-ur-Rehman Haqqani, and four others were killed in a Kabul suicide bombing on Wednesday. A suicide bomber, disguised as a visitor, detonated the bomb inside the ministry building. No group immediately claimed responsibility, but the Taliban blamed “infidels.” Haqqani, a key figure in the Haqqani network, played a significant role in the Taliban’s takeover.
