Just hours into the first day of 2025, a 42-year-old Texas man purposely drove a rented pickup through a dense crowd of revelers on New Orleans’ Bourbon Street, then opened fire on police officers. As investigators seek a motive for the attack and his purported identification with ISIS, the city of New Orleans defiantly rose in response to the tragic event. Lee Cowan reports.
