The Khulna office of Caritas Bangladesh was attacked and ransacked by a mob amid a law and order breakdown following former PM Sheikh Hasina’s resignation. The attackers looted the office and occupied the land, with staff narrowly escaping harm. No police intervention was reported, and the staff have not yet returned as the trespassers remain on the premises.
