‘Very well-reasoned’: SC refuses to interfere in Hemant Soren’s bail order

The Supreme Court refuted the Enforcement Directorate’s plea against the Jharkhand high court’s decision granting bail to chief minister Hemant Soren in a land scam and money laundering case. The apex court noted that the high court delivered a well-reasoned order. The HC had observed that none of the records showed Soren’s direct involvement in the alleged crime.
