NCP leader Baba Siddique succumbed to gunshot wounds after being admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital. Despite extensive resuscitation efforts, he was declared dead at 11.27 pm. Police have arrested two suspects and recovered the weapon used in the shooting. Siddique, a three-time MLA, was shot in Nirmal Nagar on Saturday evening.
