Mumbai hijab case: Petitioner students likely to resume attending classes

The Supreme Court’s stay on the hijab ban at Chembur’s NG Acharya & DK Marathe College provided relief to Muslim students. Many had begun adhering to the dress code, while others withdrew or ceased attending after the High Court’s dismissal. The college will now comply with the SC order allowing students to attend classes in hijabs or caps.
